What The Fries!?!

Charlotte is really becoming one of my favorite places to eat food!

Coming from New York City I have always been surrounded by and immersed in different cultures. With my mother’s West Indian culture, her love of food, and her background in culinary arts, we had the pleasure of exploring food from all around the world; while never leaving the city.

Food Trucks have been a saving grace and an opportunity to try new treats. Over by WhiteHall Corporate park, there are Food Truck Mondays and Wednesdays, where a selection of food trucks come by the area from 11:30am – 1:30pm which allows the tenants in and out of the buildings to indulge in the food trucks.

One of the most popular and favorite Food Trucks in all of Charlotte (in mine and many customers’ opinion) is What The Fries

Everything on the What the Fries truck is amazing! No exaggeration. Last week I tried their seasoned wings for the first time (which is seasoned with their fry seasoning) along with an order of Steak and Cheese Fries. The fries are made fresh to order, topped with chopped steak, Boursin cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato, and garlic mayo drizzle. The meal is gluttonous, but was absolutely satisfying so no regrets.

The fries featured above are the Chicken Bacon Boursin fries. It is very similar to the steak and cheese fries. However, it includes their homemade fresh to order seasoned fries, chopped fried chicken, Boursin cheese, lettuce, tomato, and garlic mayo drizzle. They are one of my favorite off the menu.

From the amazing food to the impeccable customer service, What The Fries has earned it’s place as one of the best food trucks in Charlotte I have ever experienced. I know for a fact many people in Charlotte would agree as well!

Update: I had the truffle fries from What The Fries, and they are one of my favorite fries! It’s includes mushrooms and truffle aioli! Also their burgers taste fresh and juicy. Get them all the way with one or more patties!
