Dry Brine Recipe

Every time I make chicken I season it up because no one likes unseasoned chicken. Sometimes I do a dry brine so I can get a nice crisp on the skin. Here’s my usual chicken brine recipe.

You will need:

1 Tbs Lawry’s

1 tsp Adobo

1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

1/2 tsp of Herbs de Provence

1/2 tsp Gourmet Collection Spice blend of Smoked Paprika, Garlic and Chili (Found at TJ Maxx)

1/2 tsp of Garlic powder (can use more)

1/4 tsp of Ground Ginger

2 tsp of Dark brown sugar

A pinch of Crushed Red Pepper

Use a whisk or fork to mix well.
